3. Distributed Internet Access Platform
3. Decentralized Internet Access Platform
The Decentralized Internet Access Platform is designed to enable access to the internet through a decentralized network, independent of centralised internet service providers (ISPs). This platform uses the ERC20 token MELEE to pay node operators and provide internet access to users.
3.1 Platform Overview
The Decentralized Internet Access Platform is a central component of the MeleeHub project, providing a low-cost platform for accessing the internet. To enhance the reliability and stability of internet access, technologies such as decentralized content delivery networks (CDNs), decentralized browsers, and decentralized domain name systems (DNS) are combined. Additionally, smart contracts and wallets are used to ensure smooth transactions and payments on the platform.
3.2 Platform Components
The Decentralized Internet Access Platform consists of the following components:
Network Nodes: Decentralized nodes that provide internet access on the platform.
Gateway Nodes: Nodes that act as intermediary points for users to access the internet.
Blockchain: A decentralized ledger that records MELEE token transactions and smart contract executions.
Smart Contracts: Contracts that are automatically executed on the platform.
Wallets: Digital wallets where users can store and use MELEE tokens for transactions.
Platform API: An interface designed for developers to access platform functions.
